His works are vignettes drawn from our daily lives, scenes that invite us to take a critical and introspective look at the limitations and contradictions of our modern societies.
The most recurring theme in the artist’s sculptures is more specifically the relationship between humans and their gadgets, because today objects are increasingly becoming the subject.
Simone Benedetto was born in Turin in 1985, where he lives and works.
He first studied at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Italy and then consolidated his artistic knowledge with experiences abroad. It was there that he developed the idea that art is always connected to social issues.
His work is primarily the product of careful observation of everyday life, carried out with a critical eye. The artist seeks to highlight the contradictions and problems of contemporary society, which struggles to offer food for thought.
When looking at Simone’s works, one is sure to find more questions than answers.
